Dino Park & Bran Castle, Romania - Travel journal
The day was filled with laughter, joy and fun but it was also educational, learning about local history. By the end of the day, the children and the supervising adults were thrilled with the trip.
Journal of the day:
8:30am - The minibus arrived to Budila to pick up the children and adults.9:30am - Arrival to Rasnov, Dino Park.
9:45am - Entrance to the Dino Park, the largest theme park in Eastern Europe, where the children could enjoy real sized statues of dinosaurs, learn about them, watch short movies and play on site games. All the activities were conducted in a safely manner.
12:30pm - The minibus heads to Bran castle, only a 20 minute ride from the Dino Park's parking lot.
13:00pm - Arrival to the entrance of Bran castle folowed by a guided tour filled with stories, legends and history.
14:00pm - A delicious lunch was served at a local restaurant followed by chocholate and jam pancakes.
16:00pm - return to Budila.
Impact of the trip
The day trip was a succesfull one. We managed to bring smiles and fun moments to these lovely children, making their day a memorable one. They could forget their daily problems and hardship they face everyday.They could return home with great memories and a wider knowledge about Romania's history and past.

Impact from the staff: This trip was such a blessing for the kids, a unique experience for them. None of them had ever been to these places and they were very excited. We were also impressed with the team who organized this trip - not only were they our tour guides, but they also took care of the kids and made sure they had a wonderful experience.
