Seeing different areas of the Lycian Way and regions of Turkey. Each day unique and offered a variety of beautiful walking experiences... Our in country guide Rukiya did a great job with our diverse group. It is clear she loves her work. Read full reviewReviewed on 20 Apr 2023 by David Skinner
We visited remote villages with ancient ruins mixed in with farm houses, well off the tourist trail. The boat trip, swimming and barbecue on the second last day was a highlight... The vacation was excellent, and fulfilled all our expectations. Read full reviewReviewed on 01 Nov 2022 by Ged Alys
The most exciting part of the vacation was the freedom to hike... Wonderful experience 10/10. Read full reviewReviewed on 12 Jun 2022 by Joan Mullaly
We really got out into the countryside and at times you'd feel like the only tourists on the Lycian way. Read full reviewReviewed on 08 May 2022 by Mary Anne Alston-Sengül

The trip was great value for money and the food was excellent. Our guide Zenyep was highly organised, fun and made the trip so memorable...she even taught us some Turkish. Read full reviewReviewed on 19 Jun 2019 by Joy Field
The food experience was matched, (and probably enhanced) by some spectacular walking, and an introduction to the Lycian civilization and their legacies. Read full reviewResponsible Travel
As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

This trip travels overland, following Turkey's Lycian Way trail. The Lycian Way is a 509km footpath around the coast of southern Turkey and one of the most beautiful long distance walks in the world. Walking is not only a low impact way to travel but it takes us to hard to visit places and small villages such as Faralya which feel a million miles away from the main tourist centers.During the drives, large water containers are provided in the buses making it easy for passengers to refill their own water bottles, discouraging the need for single use plastic bottles.
As a travel company we are continually looking for ways to improve and are proud to be ‘Responsible in everything we do’. Education is key, and so all staff, Tour Leaders and partnering suppliers are trained in responsible and sustainable tourism. At our Head Office, we continually strive towards a sustainable and planet-friendly working environment, including having solar panels installed and a company commitment to reducing our plastic usage.

The village houses on this trip are a fantastic way to really experience some beautiful locations, to try amazing freshly produced and traditional food and to meet the local families that live in this region. We visit small tea houses to enjoy an apple or mint tea amongst the chatter of the locals and the tour leader encourages the group the eat in Turkish restaurants to savour locally sourced food and recipes.
All our leaders in Turkey are local so they can give a real insight into the culture and history of this fascinating country. We also use local boat providers to access Simena village and see the sunken city of Kekova, this provides direct employment to these small businesses and ensures that money stays within the communities that we visit.
As a company we have valuable and longstanding partnerships with UK charities Toilet Twinning and Send a Cow, plus many smaller initiatives and projects around the world. We’re members of the UK travel industry body AITO because we believe it’s important to share our knowledge and experience, as well as learn from other operators.
