In this tour we are very careful when it comes to waste and protection of the areas we will put foot on. The group is advised to leave no litter behind, to collect and keep them with until we reach the town. This is done because during winter time, the waste pick up is done more rarely and we do not want to leave the waste up in the mountain villages for a long time. It is better to throw them in city bins.

If we are lucky to discover prints of wild/endangered animals, we contact our friends on the animal protection associations to inform them about what we have found.

All meals and picnics are made of local products and cooked/prepared from the family. We highly encourage travelers to consume and ask for the amount of food they need and not waste it since the resources during winter time are more likely to be collected with difficulties.

During winter time, the inhabitants would have usually moved to the city since there are more chances to be employed. But with this tour, they can stay in their houses and welcome travelers from all over the world.
