Planet
We recognise that the environment, the community and the culture within which we operate and our relationship with local organisations, businesses and individuals is vital to the success of our business. We are very pleased therefore that we have been able to provide economic support for our local community by bringing business to the local economy. we buy locally grown food for our picnic lunches and shop in the community markets and village shops. Our guests dine in various family owned restaurants which is of great benefit to the community especially as we mainly operate out of the tourist season. We use locally owned accommodation and promote the local heritage, architecture, culture and gastronomy of our region wherever we can. We aim to where possible purchase our equipment locally. We support our local farmers by using local produce in season wherever we can and use local guide services.
People
We support local income and small business enterprises by supporting locally owned shops and restaurants. We encourage our clients to purchase local, handmade or locally produced crafts. all meals are taken in family owned restaurants in the village. The cleaners and maintenance ladies and gentlemen are all Spanish and live within the village. We try to minimise the use of transport where possible and refuel in the local petrol stations where possible. Our guests are encouraged to recycle waste and minimise the use of plastic water bottles. we are keen to share the history of our wonderful village and also of the rich and diverse history of Andalucia and Spain.
