Reviews for Patagonia trekking tour
Craig Hobin review 20 Jun 2017
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The entire trail and Machu Picchu itself were phenomenal, of course, but the visit with the Andean village was surprisingly touching and enlightening.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
There were certain items for camping that would have been helpful to have that weren't on the Incan Trail items list, e.g. Flipflops3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I've done other village visits with locals on other tours in other parts of the world, but this was the first one that really seemed like both sides, locals and foreigners, were benefitting from the experience. The knowledge and cultural exchange was priceless. To improve, the guides could do more to encourage tourists to not smoke or touch the ruins. It was disheartening to see a smoker on top of Dead Woman's Pass and nobody say anything to discourage it.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent, trio of a lifetime.Holiday Reviews
