Check and double check the company's timetable of events to make sure that they have booked everything correctly.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, it did all that.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
The vacation itself was great but the planning, which is what we paid for, was bad. The timetable had us arriving back from Mount Fuji at 6pm but doing a tour at 2pm which then had to be cancelled but we ended up arriving back at 1pm so we would have had plenty of time to do the tour. We had 2 tours booked one day but because of a typhoon one was postponed and one was cancelled, don't know why both could not be postponed. They booked the car to pick us up for the airport from a hotel across the city, only for I spotted it we would have been left stranded. We had to make our own arrangements to get to the airport and they said that they would reimburse us the cost, 3 weeks later still waiting to see what we will be refunded even though I have asked for a breakdown. The reason we went with Audley was so that everything would be organised, so there would be no problems but there was quite a few mistakes which was unacceptable. The Saying "you had one job" comes to mind.Read the operator's response here:
