1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Seeing all the wonderful wildlife. Meeting the Masai in their village. The Ngorogoro crater was spectacular. The Serengeti was just beautiful We fell in love with Pongwe beach hotel! Too many highlights to pick just one!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take a good camera with zoom lens, and good quality binoculars. Take Immodium tablets - you are bound to need them at some point! Develop a good relationship with your guide, they are invaluable at spotting wildlife and know where to look. We would have liked longer at Pongwe beach. 5 days instead of 3 days to really relax and recover from the excitement and early mornings on safari.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. We bought local products hand made by communities and the local people really appreciate and need the tips from tourists - be generous! The national park fees paid by tourists pay for rangers to eradicate poaching.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
