1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The Faroe Islands and Iceland had amazing scenery. The Faroe Island tour which was included was great.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Food was very expensive - more than we had anticipated. Warm clothes essential (even in summer). Take advantage of the free public transport in the Faroe Islands. Register for Hilton Honors if you stay in their hotel for a free happy hour drink.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were particularly impressed with the Scandic Hotel measures to reduce waste. We were disappointed at the amount of waste at most of the Hotel breakfasts.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
The most enjoyable vacation we have had - and we have had many trips over the years. Jim L. went over and above meeting our needs, looking at options for changes and sorting hotels, car hire etc when the ferry from the Faroes was delayed by a day due to bad weather.Holiday Reviews
