1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Humpback whales bubble-netting Krill. The huge penguin colonies. The land/seascapes.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Consider the dates. I went in early February - at that time the penguin chicks were fledging and the penguins were very active, came close, and interesting to see. After fledging the penguins leave and there is none to see. Before fledging the penguins are on their nests.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

There are no local people. There was very little environmental impact as the biosecurity was good. The presentations and experience raised level of knowledge on conservations issues..

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Excellent. This ship/trip included 2 zodiac trips a day - mostly shore landings which are a terrific way to see and experience the landscape and wildlife.

Great that you had an amazing voyage Colin, it has been our pleasure to help you. Just to let you know that the penguin antics continue well into March, I have guided on operations several times during this latter month when in addition to penguins , whales are well fed and plentiful and leopard seals are at their best. Each season has something very unique In Antarctica depending on preferences and we are delighted you have great memories from your time there with us !
