1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The cruise itself and the overall experience, which was generally excellent in all regards. It was also a very pleasant group of passengers on the ship.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Give particular attention to the time of year that you choose for your cruise. We went during the second last week of the season, the week of September 21, when the temperature was in the high 20s/low teens C. It would be far too hot to do such a cruise in July or August when you may have to sleep on deck. Second, consider the kind of cruise experience that you want. Ours was very relaxing, with lots of swimming and some shopping. The amount of shopping was adequate, but our particular itinerary was a bit light on ancient history as we visited only one archaeological zone outside of Bodrum. Third, consider the type of vessel that you want. Our ship, the Flax VII, was not "super-luxury", but was still a beautiful and well-appointed vessel that was very nice for the price with an excellent crew.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
All ship supplies were purchased locally. Local shopping stops also helped local merchants and much of the goods available were made locally. The captain and crew were also mainly local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
As noted above, overall it was excellent and generally exceeded our expectations. I would also note we had no prior knowledge of or experience with either Responsible Travel or the operator or about our ship, the Flas VII. No need to have second thought in joining this luxury Gulet Aegean Cruise. Meals on board were excellent - different main course dinner menu for the whole week.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
To a certain extent, e.g., souvenir purchases, castle / church entrance fees, etc. Hardly any spendings on food and drinks as all meals included on board.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Plan your shore activities, perhaps including a dinner ashore. These were not included in the cruise.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Not particularly. Apart from calling taxis, the crew did not organize any interactions with locals. On the positive side, the use of disposable plastic and paper products was kept to a minimum.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
