1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The snorkelling was exceptional. Being on board The boat enabled us to weigh anchor at reefs that weren't accessible from the beach. It was like swimming in an aquarium...unbelievable! And not just fish...turtles, rays and even a 1.5m shark! The crew on the ship - the local ships mates in particular - were great fun...young and full of enthusiasm which made the stay on the boat feel as though we were really part of the island's way of life. And finally, the creole food prepared was simple but delicious and plentiful.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be prepared for steep narrow stairs on the boat and cover every part of your body with clothing for the excursion to Cousin Island to see the birds...mozzies abound! Just be prepared for a live aboard experience and enjoy... I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel as somewhere to stay on Mahe: friendly, unpretentious and right on the beach. Definitely go for the half board option - great food!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I think it's hard to justify the environmental impact of a vacation that requires 15 hrs in an airplane to get there but without tourists, the Seychellois would struggle. The Seychelles have been a Marine Conservation area for a long time so I suppose visiting and spending your money there helps keep it going.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

The vacation was very good although being stranded at the airport after a very long flight was very disappointing even though we had already paid for the transfers and i had sent an email double checking the transport was arranged just before i left. When we were leaving the seychelles the transport was late and we had to call to find out what was happening. They sent someone to collect us in a very small car with a child in it!! They said that the other taxi was on its way??? Half way through this the other taxi did come and we had to swap cars midway this driver also had his wife and child with him.Lisa Fogden review 20 Sep 2016

We visited a few conservation areas which were well supports by the local community4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
The food was excellent the cabins were comfortable the staff were lovely, nothing was too much bother. The children on board were not bored, as card games books, etc. available when on the boat. Perfect!Holiday Reviews
