1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Seeing traditional crafts still in operation for real and not for visitors visiting remote villages in the north2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be wary of ATMs. One took the charge from our account but produced no cash. Laos is basically a cash economy. US dollars are not helpful in remote areas. You need local currency even though it is difficult to manage the numbers with about £1=10,000 kip. Refillable water bottle would be useful.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Used local drivers and guides throughout. Spent money on food and lodging that appeared to go to local businesses.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Very good. Lots of signs of Chinese investment in roads and railways suggests that Laos will change soon.Holiday Reviews
