1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
There were far too many memorable moments. The best were those spontaneous and unplanned events, like witnessing a wedding in the monastery in Kosovo, kindness and hospitality extended by the young Serbs through lunch, strawberry picking, the friendly curiosity of the children, the overwhelming welcome by the locals.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
1. Be mindful we are guests and to respect the customs, culture and practices of the people. 2. Accept that “tourism” in that region is still nascent in contrast to other parts of Europe. Don’t compare as the benchmarks are not the same.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
The locals definitely benefited but I can’t ascertain if my visit brought positive impact to the environment.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Stellar. Special mention that Artur Lumani, the local guide, is a gem. His problem solving skills, coupled with the genuine earnestness to delight the customer at every situation is remarkable.Holiday Reviews
