1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The old city in Cairo, the night train, all the historical sites.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, although I didn't agree with the company policy on avoiding eg horse-drawn transport (and other animal-related matters). I'm also not sure that taking an internal flight can be said to 'reduce environmental impacts' but this has never bothered me. The benefit to local people was enormous (and very important).4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Check weather forecasts traveling in January it was colder, especially at night, than I was anticipating.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Apart from the 3 internal air flights that obviously have an environmental impact it felt as if we mainly used local businesses, and there was a visit to an animal charity hospital.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Very good, more an experience than a relaxing vacation, but I feel much better informed about both modern and ancient EgyptHoliday Reviews
