1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Finding a giant monitor lizard outside our door in koh yao noi lol. Honestly the whole trip was incredible, we were constantly impressed by our gorgeous surroundings, beautiful views, wildlife, fauna, literally everything was worth stopping and having a look at. We absolutely loved the islands and we definitely glad we did the elephant sanctuary trip in Chiang Mai which initially I wasn't too sure about, however I would have regretted not going and it was an incredible experience.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Honestly, if going to Bangkok, avoid Chinatown unless you don't mind all the very strong and unusual smells around along with eating strange food. We were right in the middle of china town and it has many strange and somewhat unpleasant scents. Apart from that, pack light - I thought I did, but I really didn't. You really don't need anything apart from a few t shirts and a pair of shorts, perhaps 1 pair of jeans, 1 good bathing suit, flip flops and a pair of tennis shoes. You will regret taking too much stuff and having to carry it around, plus this takes space in the luggage which could have been used for shopping lol.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Well it definitely benefited the locals considering how many places we stopped at and how much money we spent.. we also did our very best to lead by example at all the beaches because it is quite surprising to arrive at these absolutely gorgeous beaches and find loads of plastic debris everywhere, we tried our very best to never leave anything behind and tried to always clean up the area around us wherever we were, we also inspired some other travelers to do the same which i think was great.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent. it was an incredible experience from the first flight we had to catch all the way to the very end. I feel we were very well taken care of throughout the whole vacation, The travel agent I was in touch with was an absolute star! I would recommend this vacation to other couples who want a bit of an adventure however want to feel well taken care of throughout the whole stay.Irina Shenkman review 1 Jan 2018

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Lanjia Lodge is otherworldly. Village people so gracious, welcoming and polite. Trekking in the hills and learning about the various hill tribes people, their customs, way of life was incredible! The country is stunningly beautiful...so lush with such diverse vegetation, birds, flora. Magical in every way.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Make an effort to do a homestay, meet local people. Their customs are so different. Inquire about travel time and weight that against what is important for you to see or experience.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Hope so! Loved engaging with our tour guides and homestay people, staff etc and meeting locals and seeing and purchasing their beautiful crafts.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Fantastic! Only thing we didn't like was staying in large hotels in CaoBang and another Vietnamese city. Cities dirty, noisey and not very friendly. Country much more peaceful and clean. Could be factor of communism, political climate though. Was enlightening just not pleasant.Nicky Dear review 4 Sep 2016

Bankok grand palace is an absolute must & the street food and atmosphere in china town . The jungle house and lake trip in Khlongsaeng national park which was stunning . Erawan national park in Kantanaburi , swimming in the waterfalls & lakes . Phuket was a paradise where we relaxed at the end of a manic but incredible 2 weeks2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Make sure you have plenty of mosquito repellent if you travel to the jungle and also some plastic bags for damp clothes ! Carry lots of smaller cash for tipping ! Drink lots of water ! If we did it again I would probably do less and stay longer in some places .3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
