1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Hiking in the forests, surrounded by fungi and greenery, with no sound other than your own footsteps

Remember mosquito / gnat spray! Add extra days in Stockholm. Don’t take much cash, it’s not used often

Yes, I think the local people are helped by the tourists

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

A marvellous vacation, filled with nature. If you like hiking, it’s a must.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

We had a wonderful time - a beautiful country. It's difficult to pick highlights - the amazing scenery, the excellent accommodation and food, exploring remote islands, using semaphore to signal for the last ferry home, swimming off rocks after a day hiking, and cycling to sandy beaches. All well organised and planned by Carmen.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

We added an extra night on Uto and hired bikes, which was worth it. Make sure you buy packed lunched before setting off because you are unlikely to find places to eat - Carmen explains this. The bakery in Dalaro is perfect for getting your provisions for the day.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes using local transport - ferry, bus & train. All local accommodation & businesses.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

We loved it.
