Visiting and staying on La Digue - it is a stunning island2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
To stay on La Digue and Praslin rather than doing day trips from Mahe3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes - we stayed in small boutique hotels, used local tour reps and other small local companies. The tariffs charged when visiting some of the smaller islands on boat trips eg Curieuse enables moneys to be channelled towards conserving the local flora and fauna4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
9/10. There were a few quibbles with the UK and the local tour company, which I am happy to expand upon if you want to get in touch.Holiday Reviews
