1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Too many to say but special mentions to the safari lodges in South Africa.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The vacation did not include Mauritius so I cannot comment on that aspect, but for Cape Town and Safari, taking advice and recommendations from the operator was worth while.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Can't believe what we did and saw. All the big five plus so many more and lots of birds. Standing on the viewpoint at Amboseli with the wetlands, plains and Kilimanjaro made us feel that we were in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Nakuro and Masai Mara were equally impressive. They were all so different. A bit of an adventure was getting stuck on a rock five feet away from a pride of lions. Radio help was requested and other vans arrived. We kept an eye on the lions, who all looked as though they were wondering what the mad humans were up to, while we were bumped and pulled of the rock.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Our guide Gideon was lovely and so knowledgeable, he also had great respect for the animals.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Fantastic vacation. All the lodges were great and the people lovely. Thanks for mentioning our 50th.We were celebrated all the way through with cakes, fruit, wine and even a serenade. Mauritius gave us a chance to relax on a white sandy beach with turquoise sea. The hotel was small and the staff very welcoming. We loved all of it, but seeing so many wild animals up close was wonderful.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If possible, don't go during vacations such as Christmas since almost everything is closed. We walked around a bit, but didn't have much to do that day.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
