1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Machu Picchu and Iguazu Falls, although everything was memorable - even the long coach journeys (very comfy and amazing scenery).

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Other than ones already given by the tour operator (sun lotion and insect repellent), try an all you can eat meat buffet in Brazil, and a medium rare steak in Argentina.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

To a small extent. Good use of local guides. The attempt to avoid buying plastic water bottles - would have been easier if there were more places to get filtered water refills. I was fine as I already had a filter so just refilled from each hotel.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

10 out of 10 - an amazing vacation.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Many memorable parts, too many to include here , iconic ones like Machu Pichu & Iguazu Falls, but surprises like a parade in Cusco & a celebration in La Paz. Local contact in Peru especially made it very special & welcoming.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Read up about weather/seasons and be prepared for all the variations, as you’re covering a wide area. Take more $$ than you think you’ll need, tipping is a part of life & nec for locals!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes, this trip happened after almost 3 years so def benefited all related local business & individuals, a win win for all involved, travelers & the travel industry & local communities.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Very well put together itinerary, fast pace & covers a lot of ground, includes many highlights.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Visiting the Iguazi Falls absolutely stunning from both the Brazilian and Argentina sides. The ferry crossing on Lake Titicaca and of course Machu Picchu.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Most of the restaurants and shops accepted dollars so have them as a back up. Visa cards were a problem in some of the restaurants as the machines couldn't connect to the wifi, no problems with Mastercard at all on this trip.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes. According to our guide the upkeep of the archaeological sites was due to tourists income which also provided work for the local community. 80% of families in Cusco are involved in tourism.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Excellent. it was a very well planned trip that included all the main tourist attractions. As a taster for 4 countries in 19 days very good.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

There were many, each day seem to surpass the previous - I loved walking along the Copacabana and Ipanema beaches, and visiting the Sugar loaf and Corcovado Mountains, the Iguassu falls were incredible, floating above the crowded chaotic streets of La Paz in the cable cars, was almost surreal, I really enjoyed the magnificent Lake Titicaca and the walk on Sun Island, I was amazed at the Uros reed islands, but the best for me was climbing the last steps of the Inca Trail, passing through the Sun Gate and seeing Machu Picchu for the first time bellow me bathed in the afternoon sunshine, that was truly memorable.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

An old traveler's tip: take half the clothing and twice the money The weather wasn't as cold as I had anticipated and tipping and drinks cost more than I had budgeted for.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes it definitely benefited the locals, hard to say whether it reduced environment impact or not or supported conservation

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

This was a well planned and well conducted trip, the hotels were were all good or very good and all in close proximity to the local attractions, bars and restaurants; our guide was excellent, as were the local guides. It was fast paced and at times tiring but oh so well worth it. I have travelled quite extensively over the years, as a couple, in small and in larger groups and I would rate this trip as one of the best ever.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

La Paz was very exotic and unexpected but its hard to compare the wonder of Iguazu Falls with Machu Picchu or Rio.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

You need to be interested in a whistle stop - taster - of many different hotels/cities/landscapes - dont have time to just chill out really.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Not especially but a little bit.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

For me it was a life long goal to see Machu Picchu, which no picture or video can replace the memories logged in my head of the sheer size and awe of this place. But also whilst traveling through other countries, the beautiful landscapes just amaze you.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Make sure you take some US dollars with you (at a good rate preferably) :) Be prepared for a couple of boring bits but it is a long way.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Didn’t really get that vibe, some suspect things along the way but I'm sure tourism is paying its way in many of the economies

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

An obvious high for me at the end (matchu Picchu) but overall some exciting cultural countries, with spectacular views along the way.
