1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Canyoning , surfing , best hotel , coasteering, brilliant funny guides, beautiful flowers everywhere in the Azores,2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Book with the tour operator, ask about family restaurants as they are hard to find3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. Whale watching now rather than hunting whales. Also, canyoning monetorizes the countryside ravines. Recycling everywhere in the Azores, And in the hotel. ALso glass bottles of water used in the hotel, optional towel washing. We also visited a local family run farm so this helps the farm. Packed lunches by the tour operator used washable plastic lunchboxes and worsen cutlery. Our hotel, (the Azoris Royal Garden hotel) provided butter in plastic packs. Our hotel provided organic handsoap and shampoo in large 400ml dispensers in the rooms. It would be better if the butter in the restaurant was scooped in small dishes, to avoid the plastic.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Be prepared for all weathers. There can be a shower or some wind, but it’s lovely and warm so still feels nice.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
