1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

All of it!! Seeing orang-utans in wild and incredible opportunity to see many other animals and birds so close with expert guide. Teamwork sense of achievement in conservation work.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Pack a plentiful first aid kit - needed lots of plasters for blisters on work site. Antihistamines and mosquito repellant clothing good idea. Ensure good level of fitness.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Definitely, very integrated with local community eating meals at locals' houses - reciprocal benefit. Our expert guide believed that the project would in real terms support conservation

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Fantastic opportunity. Beautiful location, adequate facilities. Emphasis always on our health and safety. I am inspired to do more volunteering of similar nature.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

There were many exciting wildlife sightings but the most memorable part of the vacation was being with Mark, the project leader, who was highly knowledgeable about the natural world as well as organising a varied and interesting programme.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

To be prepared to engage fully with all the activities arranged. A pair of binoculars would also be helpful

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

It definitely supported conservation and maybe made the village more aware of the importance of their forest.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

It was beautifully organised and structured and a great opportunity to be part of another culture and to see wonderful wildlife. An excellent project. I will give it 5 stars but not for the reasons you have stated below.
