1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Exciting (and memorable I guess) the terrifying jeep drive up to and back down from Fairy Meadows. There were, however, so many memorable events on the trip - polo at Fairy Meadows and Shandur, sponsored school visit Baleygon, Khaplu Palace Hotel, mountain views all the way around the trip, Hoper Glacier, Chitral bazaar, staying with the Kalash ....... Getting a Club World upgrade both flying to and from Islamabad!!!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Be prepared for some long hard jolty days in the jeeps - an average of 5 hours a day and up to 10 on a couple of occasions (plus stops)3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes. we eat in lots of local restaurants en route and bought various items from local people ranging from mangoes to carpets and beautiful pieces of textile and copper plates4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
