1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

The activities are challenging and a good level of fitness is required for the hikes and bike rides. But an appropriate pace will be set for the group to ensure that all participants complete the activities.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes - encouraged to bring our own water bottles and not buy bottled water, not to leave rubbish behind on days out, local shops and restaurants were very welcoming and happy to provide goods and services, real community feel.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

10 out of 10! From the airport transfer service to the owners at the accommodation to the leaders and guides we had during our days out, everyone was professional and organised and I felt really safe. We learnt so much about Andorra and it felt like we were immediately welcomed into the community from the first day. The scenery was breath-taking and weather was perfect all week. The itinerary was well thought out allowing for rest days as well as challenging days throughout the week. The group was also so much fun to spend the week with which makes a very big difference and the accommodation felt like we were at home (we had the whole hotel to ourselves for the entire week!).

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Most memorable was the beautiful scenery and the people we met on the trip.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Make sure you are fit enough for 5 or 6 days of moderate exercise. Book an e-bike if you struggle with up-hills and fancy an easier time. Biking parts require basic cycling skills and there were a few accidents that fortunately were not too serious. Probably not the best vacation for people who are uncomfortable cycling downhill.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

No more than any other tourism. The guide Antonoine thought ahead about environmental impact - leaving no rubbish, not wearing sunscreen before swimming in mountain lakes etc.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Great fun. We all really enjoyed it...great activities, nice familiy run hotel, fun and interesting people to share it all with. Antoine the guide was pretty much perfect, very professional and activities were very well planned and set at a good level to be both challenging and accessible for a group of people with a wide range of capabilities.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Superb week! Great range of activities, with programme tailored to meet abilities and needs of individuals and group as a whole; Antoine was an excellent activity guide) Rafting was exhilarating! Hikes in beautiful areas, MTB rides with easier and more challenging sections. Warm and friendly welcome from hotel hosts Nick and Nuria and great food - what more can you ask for from an activity vacation!

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Have a go at everything! Be prepare for full on activities all week (though with easier options if needed / preferred). Get out walking / cycling to get fitter before you arrive so as to get the most out of the activities; the resort is at around 5,000 ft above see level with walks and cycle rides at attitude - so it may take a day or two to acclimatise to this.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Yes - local family run hotel and local guides; supports employment in area especially during summer (i.e non-ski) season.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Fantastic! Really well organised; friendly and welcoming! We had a great group of people too which really added to the experience!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The White Water Rafting and Zip Lining.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Make sure you are fit, the walks are pretty tough, uphill on the lungs, downhill on the knees! Come prepared to challenge your boundaries, i.e being on a zip wire if you are uncomfortable with heights and getting very wet and possibly land up in the water on the rafting!! All was safely done and no-one was made to do anything that they were uncomfortable with.

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Well it did help with employment, but long transfers into Spain to do the rafting. However, all of our activities were environmentally sound.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

The vacation was good value for money. However, as you are unable to obtain lunch on any day other than your free down it would be helpful to pay for this in the price of the vacation, rather than ordering at the hotel and paying for it separately. The activities were varied and well planned through the week so you never did the same activities two days running, which gave a change for certain muscles to recover.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

The amazing adventure activities and the people, the staff and other guests were all really great fun.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

You need to be flexible and confident mountain walking, mountain biking and happy to push your boundaries!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Generally, yes, used local bars, restaurants, shops, activities. Best to bring a resizable water bottle and something to put your lunch in. Guest house should reduce plastic use lots of unnecessary cling film used, plastic water bottles, plastic bags, individual tea bags sealed in plastic, disposable plastic table cloths. Overall though a great week wa had by all.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Absolutely stunning, exciting and inspiring.

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?

Cycling on Tour de France route.

2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?

Go with the flow! Do everything but at a level you feel comfortable with -variations galore to meet individual needs. Bring walking boots not shoes unless you are happy to have wet feet all day!

3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

Family run guest house, local guides and activities. Quite a bit of driving in private vehicle unavoidable due to activities but used effectively. Minor negative: Guest house could reduce plastic use - individual tea bags sealed in plastic, disposable plastic table cloths. Could have a recycling bin in communal area.

4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Amazing!

Read the operator's response here:

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are tackling the issue of single use plastic on our Andorran trip step by step. We have introduced use of reusable lunch boxes and are hoping to add reusable water bottles too. It’s good to hear other suggestions – table clothes, etc. This will become our focus too. I will catch up with operators by the end of this month and will bring this up as a point that we’d like to change in nearby future.
