1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
spotting tigers!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
if you have already seen the Red Fort and the Taj Mahal in Agra, don't bother with the included excursion. The 20/25 minute walk to get back to the coach park is too much after going round the monuments.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I guess so but saw no specific example...4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Seeing tigers after 3 or 4 game drives of seeing nothing as wildlife is not highly populated in any of the national parks2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Please note that wildlife sightings are not like anywhere in Africa and the standard and comfort of the game jeeps very basic the seats are not well padded and the roads are very bumpy older people might struggle with this part of the tour and in total there are 16 games drives3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Good I’m pleased I did the tour and I was lucky enough to see tigersRead the operator's response here:
We really appreciate these comments on your recent trip to India, Clare. We are so happy to read about your multiple sightings of tigers as they can be rather shy creatures by nature. Our aim with so many game drives in the itinerary, is to maximise the chance of seeing all wildlife on offer, especially tigers!
Unfortunately, we must rely on the National Parks for the game drives and have to make do with their vehicles. While customers of all ages do these game drives and have not previously raised specific issues about the suitability of the drives for older people, we recognise that the ride can be bumpy at times, and we value your feedback for any future travelers considering this tour. We hope to see you on one of our adventures again soon!

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Seeing Tigers for the first time in the wild2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take some warm clothing for early moring game drives and be prepared for bumpy, open-air rides in a jeep! A long telephoto lens of some sort is importent to capture good photographs.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Local people were given work in the Tiger reserves and conservation was definitely well supported. Our long flight from UK to Delhi probably added to pollution. Hopefully the airlines will be able to offset this issue.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
A well organised vacation and we achieved our objective of seeing wild Tiger. Our guide (Krishna was very good at handling a variety of guests and was very knowledgableMartyn Todd review 17 Nov 2018
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Seeing the Tigers - one very close!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Very early mornings (04:30 wakeup calls!). Some drives very uncomfortable. Overnight train journey better than expected but station terrible - fine aroma!!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Good but disappointing game drives at the end (too tiger orientated - Uncomfrortable fast drive and then sat seeing nothing for last six drives)Ian Harrison review 2 May 2017
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Seeing a Wild Tiger for the first time and witnessing a Tiger stalk and live kill a cow from about 40 yards away, an amazing one in a life time moment !!!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Enjoy everything about the trip, don't be hooked up on seeing tigers, they are there and can be hard to find, and when the moment arrives it is magical!!! Pack less than you think (laundry service available), have old clothes for game drives can be really dusty in hotter months and you do get dust everywhere, have something to do for between game drives / evenings as resorts are quite isolated ... Embrace the experience, the locals, the wildlife, the sights and the train, you may be surprised!!!3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I believe that the vacation helped towards the long term project of local people being employed and working within the parks and hopefully the long term conservation and protection of the tigers habitat ...4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
This was a great vacation, enjoying a group vacation for the first time, meeting folks from different walks of life, mixing with the local people, enjoying the sights of India, and finally the wildlife and achieving my dream of seeing wild Tigers .... Awesome !!Linda Hall review 6 Nov 2014
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The safaris and seeing the one tiger.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Don't have too high expectations of tiger sightings, it is luck and being 'in the right place at the right time', but the scenery is wonderful. Be prepared for early mornings, and dusty rides. If you are not a city person, find a safari only trip.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes and no. Definitely a benefit for the local people with the money and jobs and investment in the school. More people anyway is never going to be good for the environment, but the interest, education and funds are good for the conservation of the parks and the wildlife.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
The initial vacation was good and the accommodation very good, but for me I think if I was to do it again, I would not do the city parts, they seemed rushed, hot, dusty and an overload of history and names that could not way be absorbed unless you are that way inclined. As with all group vacations, there is usually a mix of people, and for everyone to get along together is a rarity. There was a particular disquiet within this group initially it seemed based on one night when one of the party had a little too much to drink and fell out with her friend. It was sorted and should have been left at that, however, it was exacerbated by a group of older ladies who insisted on making it a 'big deal' and dragged it out for the rest of the trip, making for an unpleasant atmosphere. Our guide did the best he could and cannot be faulted for his handling of an impossible situation. The party member in question was not to blame for the turn of events.Holiday Reviews
