We loved seeing the animals closeup at Mahali Mazuri2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Know the smallest aircraft's baggage limits, take small bills in the local currency for tips/souvenirs, and get a supplemental battery for recharging devices.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes! Huge revenue/jobs boost to local economy....and helped in conservation efforts, especially elephants and black rhinos.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

Remember to bring cash to cover tipping, there are no ATMs and you cannot tip using credit card3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?

We had many wonderful moments on the safari but the most memorable part was watching a lioness with her three young cubs going on a hunt early in the morning.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take a variety of clothes to cover all temperatures and an afternoon shower. Go on a night safari.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
We were very impressed with both places we stayed (Mundui House and Eagle View BaseCamp). They both minimised plastic use and used fresh, locally sourced food ingredients. Both also supported local conservation and the local community.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?

1) seeing all the animals, 2) Meeting some really lovely people and making friends. 3) The guides and trackers were absolutely brilliant and really made the vacation. and 4) The whole organisation of the vacation from the first meeting at the airport to the drop off when we were going home. Brilliant.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Just trust that everything is organised so well there is nothing to worry about.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, we supported the local people by buying locally made gifts to bring home and ensuring that we looked after the environment while on safari. Learning and understanding local traditions was important to ensure that we all 'sang from the same hymn sheet'.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Excellent Everything was perfect from when I first contacted Rosy to hearing from our tour operator to being met at the Nairobi airport to all the safari's and lodges (so well looked after) to going back to Nairobi and eventually being dropped back off at the airport. No hic-ups, it was so smooth and a real treat not have to worry about anything.Holiday Reviews
