1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
The guide, Karni Singh, and the group.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Best to avoid Devali festival - locals are on vacation for at least the two weeks following Deval - many of the sites were very crowded, unless the group starts early (8am) as suggested by our guide to avoid the crowds. Carry a roll of toilet paper and hand sanitizer.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes to benefiting local people.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
A wonderful informative trip filled with lots of temples; forts; palaces; food.Jantien van der Meer review 27 Apr 2019
1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Visiting the Taj Mahal2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
If you experience motion sickness and/or claustrofobia do not get on the overnight train to Mumbai, instead choose to fly, probably you have to pay extra, but 16 hours in the overnight train was for most of our group members a horrible experience. You should also know that the train is very dirty, cockroaches are walking everywhere, toilets are dirty, and there are no waste bins so how lower in the train, the more waste gets on the floor of the train (food waste, disposables, diapers etc).3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Part of the tour is lots of shopping in stores where the guide takes you. So these salesman make benefits. Further more we did nothing to save conservation, the only thing is that we got a bag in the beginning of the vacation in order to reduce our plastic waste.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
For vegan travelers India is very difficult and the food trip is not suitable for vegans. I would advise vegans to look for a vegan food tour.Read the operator's response here:

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
My trip was full of exciting and memorable moments every day! To choose one, we visited the Old Delhi the first day, had the breakfast in the narrow lines and then visited the Sikh Temple and were introduced how the local volunteers prepare free meals to be shared to anybody. We had the lunch there and learnt a lot of the Sikh religious beliefs. It was very positive visit.2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
The trip notes are very good indeed,so read them carefully . The traveling though is quite easy, and certainly much better than let's say a decade ago3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
Yes, think that way. We interacted and communicated with locals more or less all the time, buying also directly. These encounters are a key part of the overall experiences. People are friendly with nice sense of humor4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
Very well planned program, more than expected. Our tour guide Jadduu was very organized and so knowledgeable social and positive. All arrangements worked wellAlison Pick review 3 Dec 2016

1. What was the most memorable or exciting part of your vacation?
Undoubtedly visiting the Taj Mahal, although the journey on the overnight train was a close, but completely contrasting, second - although i'm not sure the whole group would agree!!!2. What tips would you give other travelers booking this vacation?
Take lots of clothes for colder weather (i didn't do my homework properly and it was far colder than I expected). Also, to consider carefully how busy it was: I enjoyed this but my traveling companion got a lot more tired than she expected.3. Did you feel that your vacation benefited local people, reduced environmental impacts or supported conservation?
I would like to think the vacation benefited local people, it certainly did in as much as using local transport / local drivers and eating in local establishments or when sampling street food. I'm not sure it's credentials in terms of reducing environmental impact were that high, nor in terms of supporting conservation. Despite our tour leader appearing unaware of it's existence, we did independently organise a slum tour which contributed significantly to the above as profits go directly to the related NGO.4. Finally, how would you rate your vacation overall?
It was a challenging, enjoyable and interesting experience. There were some disappointments as several activities in the itinerary didn't materialise, but overall these did not detract from the vacation experience.Holiday Reviews
