Upon arrival at the Sarajevo airport, as a welcoming gesture guests will receive canvas bags and reusable water bottles since the tap water in Bosnia and Herzegovina is drinkable. We are happy to set an example of environmental protection and encourage others to do so. Aim to recycle what you can.

Itineraries and all the necessary information will be sent online and we discourage our guests from printing them out as a small contribution to use less paper. The tour leader will regularly remind guests about details before the planned activity.

Konjuh Mountain is one of the few preserved gems of nature in northeastern Bosnia and a protected landscape. On the Konjuh mountain, there are numerous necropolises of stecak tombstones, the most legendary symbol of the country and the oldest witnesses of Bosnia and Herzegovina's history.

When visiting national parks and nature reserves, we stick to the planned roads to preserve natural habitats and leave animals undisturbed.

People

Next to a Bosnian tour leader (a person from our agency that will be at your service throughout the trip), we have professional local guides who will present the history, customs, and culture of each region and a mountain guide on the Konjuh mountain.

We encourage our guests to leave a low impact on the communities we visit and we make sure they are informed in advance about local rules or guidelines that might affect them.

To support small businesses and the local economy in this area we use local transport throughout, stay at a local hotel, eat at local restaurants and encourage our travelers to purchase souvenirs from local artisans and workshops. By leaving a free choice for dinner we ensure that many small restaurants will benefit from the spending of our guests. We will visit the restaurant Ethno Avlija Mackovac, which is also the Ethno Museum in Banovici, and socialize with the folklore Kud Banovici.
