Austria vacations pack a pretty punch for a small country. When snow covered Austria is cross country and snowshoeing central, with a brilliant trail network emanating, in particular, from Seefeld which has hosted the Winter Olympics twice. As well as the Alps’ omnipresence, the Northern Lakes are #nofilter nirvana, and the River Danube weaves its way through the country, with hiking and cycling routes along the way through pretty villages and ancient byways.
