Responsible Travel

As the pioneers of responsible tourism, we've screened this (and every) vacation so that you can travel knowing it will help support the places and people that you visit, and the planet. Read how below.

Planet

Introducing Ghana tour offers participants an opportunity to experience the spirit of Ghana, one of Africa's most exciting countries. The program focuses on the country's cultural, social and economic diversity as well as its colorful and vibrant culture.
We make every effort to have a good influence on the people and environments we visit, and we urge passengers to donate products that are affordable and easy to pack, such as pencils for school children and recycled clothes.
We also help with hotels and guest homes to establish best practices in terms of environmental issues. We go to these hotels with our local staff to deliver a presentation on environmental issues and to assist them in setting up solar panels as well as turning off lights and electrical appliances that are not being used.
Travelers on this tour are not permitted to trash the environment, but are instead encouraged to educate the communities they visit about environmental concerns such as garbage recycling.

People

Introducing Ghana tour provides our participants with a one-of-a-kind neighborhood experience as well as benefits to the communities visited, as all site fees are used to further the development of those communities.
The majority of the lodgings used on these trips are owned by locals. This allows us to provide something of monetary value to the communities while also ensuring that our visit has a beneficial impact on them by purchasing locally manufactured goods. We also make certain that our visits do not impinge on the people's native customs and beliefs.
We prefer to work with smaller, locally owned businesses to ensure that our operations help local communities directly. For example, we use small, locally owned hotels, campgrounds, and activity providers wherever feasible.
Throughout the journey, we work with local guides and operators (responsible local operators that provide training and employment to many local people as guides, providing them with stable employment in the tourism industry.)
